Would you like your family and friends to stay at a very peaceful place that combines the sea, mountains, cultural, historical and natural sights without the noise and stress of big cities and tourist centres, but at the same time near them? If so, your hosts present you with: A new (January 2009) spa villa for 8 adults + children built in the style of an ancient medieval castle and located in north-eastern Bulgaria, near by the warm Black Sea coast, in the sunny village of Madara, that is on the same latitude as the French Riviera and Tuscany in Italy. It is one of the few rented spa villas-castles in Europe with an indoor heated swimming pool with hydro massage and chromo therapy, 4 marble bathrooms with hydro massage and five sunny panoramic terraces on three levels with over 130m² area. Like the villas of ancient Rome, the villa is equipped with water floor heating.
The Spa Villa is situated only 100 meters from the National Historical and Archaeological Reserve of Madara which remains, with its 7 historical epochs, unique to world civilization and is part of the world culture heritage of UNESCO.
The castle is situated on the most picturesque and highest place in the village, with wonderful views in all directions to a range of 20-30 km. Situated at the foot of the Madara rocks on 1500m² of its own land with fruit trees and vegetable crops, with its own internal road, parking for 5 cars, children's playground with three swings, 2 slides, sandbox, etc. as well as its own sports field for football, basketball, volleyball and tennis. there are also two outdoor pools available from May to October.
The 350m² building was built of brick and stone, floored with marble and granite, with internal and external doors, windows and furniture made of wood. Furthermore, all external doors and windows of the castle are double and have wooden shutters that provide you security from external influences and sounds, and greater comfort. You can open the double windows and enjoy the morning and evening songs of birds and the roosters early in the morning.
Five types of marble, of different colors and patterns, are used in the bathrooms. The building has natural spring water fed from wells located in the Grand Cave - the Temple of the Nymphs - in the time of the ancient Thracians. It is located only 800 meters from the castle in the National Historical and Archaeological Reserve of Madara.

The Castle villa has 4 levels:

Level I - the whole floor is made by marble.
1. A large furnished living-room with sofas, tables, chairs, fitness equipment, audio system, DVD, LCD-TV, and an 8 meter indoor heated swimming pool with hydro massage. 64 hydro nozzles in 8 hydro massage zones and chromo therapy with 16 underwater lights with 24 bulbs with different colors given as an option. The swimming pool is separated from the room with high, strong and transparent barrier made of Plexiglas with safety lockable doors for children and adults.
2. Small bedroom/office - with computer-desk, LCD-TV and couch.
3. Fully equipped kitchen - Ariston fridge with freezer - 400 l, frost-free and with an antibacterial system, Electrolux microwave with grill, Indezit dishwasher for 12 sets, Indezit oven with spit and glass ceramic surface, aspirator, multi-food processor , coffee machine, toaster, fryer and all other kitchen utensils and accessories, with table and chairs and LCD-TV.
4. A marble bathroom with WC with hydro massage shower panel with 6 jets.
5. For your convenience, a hidden niche in the hallway has a large 8 kg Ariston washing machine with electronic governor and next to it is the big 7 kg Indezit dryer.
6. Cellar

Level II
1. A bedroom with balcony with a large bed for two, two bedside cabinets with lamps, wardrobe, table with two chairs, mini bar, LCD-TV and its own marble bathroom with WC, with bath-tub and hydro massage shower panel with 6 jets.
2. A bedroom with balcony with two single beds that may be combined into a double, bedside cabinets with lamps, wardrobe, table with two chairs, mini bar, LCD-TV and its own marble bathroom with WC, with bath-tub and hydro massage shower panel with 6 jets.
3. A royal bedroom with balcony, with three single beds with possibility for combining into one or two big beds, bedside cabinets with lamps, two wardrobes, table with two chairs, mini bar, LCD-TV and its own marble bathroom with WC, with bath-tub, hydro massage shower panel with 6 jets, second shower and sauna.

All beds in the bedrooms are having chest below and luxurious 20 centimetres-spring foam mattresses brand "TED".
All 4 toilets are equipped with Bidet system by "American standard".

Level III
1. The tower of castle, with a sink and surface.
2. A huge panoramic terrace - 100m² with tables, lounges and BBQ.

Level IV
Roof of the tower of the castle - the highest panoramic terrace of the castle - 12m² .

All rooms have cable and satellite television of over 2500 programs and over 700 radios in every european and mediterranean language from 6 satellites - HOT BIRD, ASTRA, EUTELSAT, TOHR, HELLAS SAT, TURK SAT as well the German DREAMBOX with a 10,000 memory channels, which enables you to watch your favourite programs from your country. If you have satellite TV in your country, you do not need to leave it behind. Just bring your card to access your network. All rooms have LG brand LCD-TVs. Furthermore, the entire building has wireless internet.

The whole building has under-floor water heating throughout. In addition, there are supplemental aluminium radiators. In summer there is air-conditioning.
The building, internal road, parking, sports field and children's playground are fully illuminated at night.

CLIMATE

Latitude and location of Madara temperate continental climate, combined with the impact of the Black Sea and the warm Mediterranean and African winds. Due to that, climate in Madara is between Mediterranean and temperate continental climate, with clear impact of the near Black sea. It is characterized by long, hot summer with puffs of sea breeze that will cool in the hot days and nights, with long and warm autumn, mild winter and sunny spring.
We average over 250 sunny days a year, not only in the summer and spring but also in autumn and winter. The spring through fall temperatures range between 25°C and 35°C, and rarely for a few days to 39°C. From December to March temperatures average from -5°C to +15°C. For April, October and November temperatures are between +10°C and +25°C
Snow cover is only 10 to 30 days per year, and occurs most often around Christmas, New Year, January and February.
Rainfall is typical for southern Europe, totalling between 450mm (17.75") and 600mm (23.6") per year.

CUISINE

Bulgarian cuisine with its millenial history and the various foreign influences over the centuries have combined typical European and Oriental flavors. You can try typical Bulgarian salad, Shopska salad, soups, tarator, banitsa other dishes of meat or barbecue with appropriate Mediterranean vegetable salads, or some oriental specialties of the Bulgarian cuisine.
Only in Bulgaria, you can try the famous sour milk (similar to yogurt) because the bacteria - laktobatsilus Bulgaricus - which makes yogurt so beneficially healthy, lives only here. In addition, in July and August you can try fresh organic fruits and vegetables from the garden of the castle.
Madara and its surroundings are a wine region with long history. Here you can try the local white and red wines and visit some of the most famous wine cellars, which are 15-20km from Madara village Osmar, with its famous Osmar's Sage-brush, Tsarev Brod and others. We may try the famous Osmar's Sage-brush with herbs, high quality Cabernet, Chardonnay, Muscat, Riesling and Merlot wines.

ENTERTAINMENT, RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS

1. In the village of Madara - 1,500 inhabitants - has 6 smaller and bigger restaurants - 3 in the village and 3 at the beginning of reserve. All are offering food and beverages at low cost. In village has 6 smaller stores all food, soft and alcoholic drinks, and consumer goods and confectionery in centre. The shops and restaurants are located at 50 to 900 meters from the castle. The village has a railway station, good roads and is close to first class roads and highway.
2. In the town of Shumen, 120,000 inhabitants - of 15 kilometres - has more than 100 drinking establishments, restaurants, billiard halls and bowling alleys and discos. The town has over 200 large and small shops of goods of every kind and nature among them as KAUFLAND, BILLA, Technopolis, Technomarket and others.
3. In Varna - 500 000 habitants - at 68 kilometres - 64 on the highway - has over 1000 restaurants, tourist complexes, discos, nightclubs, bowling alleys and billiard halls and all that you can imagine. There is a huge variety of over 1000 shops of every kind and 7 huge Malls. There are delphinarium and aquarium - museum - located in the marine garden. In the vicinity of Varna have three golf courses.

SPORTS
Madara
1. The 30m x 15m sport field of the villa is fully equipped for football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, etc. While you do sports, your children can play on the adjacent playground with 3 swings, 2 slides, sandbox, and a lot of space to play, protected by 4 meter net from random balls from the playing field. There are on-property roads and pathways where you can run or jog through the beautiful scenery. In the 8-meter indoor and heated pool you can swim in any season or weather, avoiding dust, insects and other common disadvantages of outdoor pools. A Plexiglas barrrier with locking doors guarantees the safety of your young children. From May to October the villa also has two outdoor pools.
2. There are 100 meter vertical cliffs at the Madara rocks located within 900 meters of the villa that offer you a perfect opportunity to rock climb with varying degrees of difficulty. On top of the rocks you can practice delta and steam paragliding, as do dozens of people every day in all seasons.
3. Just 10 minutes from is the biggest stud farm of the Balkans, Kabiyuk, where you can ride horses and ponies every day.
