Villa Flowers is one of 2 new very special 6 bedrooms villas ( the other is called Villa Serena ) located next to each other in Galley Bay St John’s. Villa Flowers has the larger living space than the other, but each are very open plan and spacious, with a private pool, gym, a Jacuzzi pool and also a solarium. They can be rented individually or as separate private villas. The property has been designed for comfort and informality with its own pool and access to a quiet sandy beach below. The 2 properties together have 12 bedrooms if you are a larger group.You can tell that the property has been carefully designed by the owner in a contemporary and minimilistic style to complement and contrast the perfect caribbean setting.
The house has been created for outdoor living with a series of wooden decks and linked ballustrades that connect guest rooms, pools, dining areas and terraces with sunloungers. The furniture throughout is contemporary and designed to blend perfectly as the owner had intended in muted greys and beiges that provides contrast rather than competing with the beauty of the Caribbean setting its in.
The property has been built in a vernacular style with a series of peaked shingle roofs left open at the sides and linked to satelite pavilions. The Villa has a large central living room with bar with louvered windows throughout. The house comes complete with kitchen and a trained cook. Bedrooms too have an openess to them to allow cooling breezes to flow through them when window louvers are open. Windows are clad with mosquito netting, floors and walls are clad with tatami and natural wood runs throughout the property.
