Description of Hacienda:

High on a breezy hillside overlooking the Divi Carina Bay Casino and the beach below, The Hacienda commands a sweeping view of St. Croix's south side and the Caribbean Sea. Beautiful terraced landscaping surrounds this very private home set on 5-1/2 acres. The heart of The Hacienda is the large covered verandah with a large dining table, cable TV and a built-in gas grill just off the kitchen. French doors usher you into the cool interiors of this substantial villa furnished in tropical elephant bamboo, and pickled cypress adorns ceilings and custom cabinetry throughout. Floors are cool saltillo tiles, and bathrooms all offer custom tile and glass brick showers. Just off the verandah is the kitchen and living area, with a laundry room adjoining. A hallway leads to three bedroom/bathroom suites done in island style - a king and a queen suite, both air-conditioned - and the large king master suite, which opens directly to a covered terrace, the pool and to inspiring 180-degree ocean views. The fourth bedroom/bath suite, an air-conditioned queen, is along the terrace, just beyond the king master suite. The Hacienda is solidly built with thick walls for cool interiors and hushed seclusion. The beautiful pool area fronts this lovely residence and overlooks the blue ocean and Divi beach below. For resort dining, evening entertainment and gambling, it's less than a two-minute drive down the hill from The Hacienda to the Divi Carina Bay Hotel & Casino for vacation nightlife and even more fun after a day under St. Croix's sunny skies...an excellent locale for a Virgin Islands vacation!

Guests at The Hacienda may charter the villa's 36-foot trawler, "Sea Turtle," for the day to explore the waters off St. Croix. The cost is $200 per day, including fuel, plus $50 per hour for Sea Turtle's captain Mike. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to see the island from off shore, and fish, snorkel and swim...kindly book your day charter well in advance.
