Mariposa, built in 1990 in prestigious Ocean Point, nestles dramatically in rich tropical setting with panoramic views of water in almost all directions. From the large covered deck, you can lay back in the hammock and enjoy an unobstructed vista of iridescent turquoise waters, azure skies and distant harbor.
If it is sunshine you prefer, you can stretch out and relax on the large open deck with the sea lapping the shoreline below or walk down the steps to the sea-level deck with steps into the water for swimming and sunning.
From decks on the other side of the villa, you have views of nearby Taylor Beach, a large crescent-shaped beach with sugar-white sand which is almost always deserted. But, don't just look at it; a three-minute walk puts you right on it.
Inside the villa, you will find a tasteful décor of warm Caribbean colors with tile floors, wood paneled walls, and cathedral beamed ceilings providing a feeling of space and luxury throughout. So, as you enjoy the tranquil beauty of Mariposa, keep in mind that there are other amenities as well.
Within easy reach are several tennis courts, a beautiful 18 hole golf course, numerous restaurants, a casino, outstanding scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing and friendly people. Mariposa, with its desirable location, dramatic setting, luxurious interior and beautiful architectural design combine to make this a truly exceptional place to spend your next holiday.
Mariposa has three lovely bedrooms, each with a full bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, self-cleaning oven and more. Additionally, there is cable TV receiving over 30 channels, a stereo for CD's and cassette tapes, and there is a washer and dryer, plus other amenities.

In order to keep rental rates low, maid service is included before, after and one time in the middle of your stay for a light clean-up. Additional maid service is available for $7 an hour with a three-hour minimum. Many people feel too much maid service can be an intrusion on privacy, so it is not included in the rate, otherwise causing you to pay for something you may not want, but available inexpensively if you do want it.
Air conditioning is available in all the villas, some with a surcharge based on usage via a separate, easy-to-read, digital meter.
Cooks - If you want a cook or chef to cook at the villa for you, this can be easily arranged. However, there are some very enjoyable restaurants on the island representing many nationalities and ranging in price from cheap to expensive.
