Description of Adagio:

Combining comfort with elegance and an excellent floorplan, Adagio is the newest addition to our villas at Mahoe Bay. This inviting five-bedroom villa is designed as two spacious pavilions bisected by a very private sun deck and pool. Adagio's three-level main pavilion houses the generous Great Room, graced by beautiful gourmet kitchen and dining areas with a covered deck just outside with a wet bar and gas grill. The Great Room is also the gathering place for friends and family, with stylish but comfortable sofas and chairs placed around a media center filled with movies, CDs and games. Sliding doors open to a wide covered verandah set for outdoor dining or family games and relaxation which looks out to the beach below and to blue sea vistas. A staircase from the Great Room curves up to the first air-conditioned king master bedroom/bath suite with a tropical glass-block shower and its own private verandah. A second identical air-conditioned king suite is just off the Great Room, and below on the lower level, accessed by a walkway around the pool deck, is a very large air-conditioned double-twin bedroom and bath with a verandah; this suite may also be made up as a king suite with advance notice. Across the tiled pool deck is Adagio's second pavilion offering the perfect setup for families with small children - an air-conditioned king bedroom/bath suite with a connecting door into the adjoining air-conditioned double-twin (or king) suite - roomy and convenient, yet also very private. This pavilion is handicapped accessible, and a ramp provides easy access up to the Great Room and verandah areas. Adagio is beautifully furnished with island wickers, bright tropical fabrics and lovely artwork, and surrounded by flowering gardens and waving palms. Adagio is well designed to provide generous space for togetherness, and areas throughout for private time as well. Just like its name, Adagio provides "a slow tempo" of island life in a luxurious and exceedingly well-equipped setting where serenity prevails. Absolutely lovely.

Rental Notes

Adagio's caretaker lives in a separate cottage about 50 yards from the villa, and is promptly available for assistance, should you need it, and for your questions, but of course your privacy is assured. If she is not on-island, another caretaker is only a phone call away. A selection of excellent chefs is available for one meal or many - please inquire for rates and sample menus. PLEASE ALSO ADD A 12% MANDATORY CLEANING FEE TO ALL RENTAL RATES FOR ADAGIO (non-comissionable). A second 6-bedroom villa on a nearby 3.3 acre lot is currently being renovated by the owner, which will be available for rent in Spring, 2004. However, your seclusion and your privacy at the pool is completely assured at Adagio.
