Portocito's secluded small cove beach is just below Villa Costa Rica 41, about 3 - 5 minutes by foot... depending on the person. We call it our "Little Paradise" or Pequeña Paradiso.
The nearest beach by car is Portocito Beach, and it's less than 2 minutes away. The gorgeous palm lined Hermosa Beach is just beyond that, a mere 5 minutes drive. It takes a couple hours to walk the beach; it is that long! Ballena Marine National Park 15 minutes by car and also visible from Villa Costa Rica 41, as is Caño Island and the Three Sister Islands.
Villa Costa Rica 41 is located 9 kilometers south of Dominical in the South Pacific region of Costa Rica.. You can get to Villa Costa Rica 41 by flying internationally to San Jose airport in Costa Rica. From San Jose either you can rent a car and drive 3 hours through the scenic sierra pass to San Isidro and then to Dominical beach where the Costanera Highway takes you to the Portocito entrance 9 km south. You enter through the Portocito gateway and take the small road past the Cuna de Angel Hotel and follow along the road until you reach the gateway of Villa Costa Rica 41…we will be expecting you! Another alternative is to take local airlines from San Jose to Palmar Norte which is about an hour south of Villa Costa Rica 41 and easily reached by way of the Costanera Highway.
