Villa Beausoleil is a Provencal-style luxury villa built into a rock and lies in the beautiful "Parcs de Mougins". The famous medieval village of Mougins where Pablo Picasso spent the last years of his life is nearby (7 min drive). Known for the many art galleries, cafes and fine restaurants (Mougins is the home of Roger VergÈís two-star Moulin de Mougins as well as several other Michelin-rated restaurants and bistros) in a scenery of flowerboxes with roses and geraniums and the sun shining on the old stone fountain on village square, Mougins is like a picture-postcard image of France. Because of its proximity to the centre of Cannes (10min drive) Villa Beausoleil in the "Parcs de Mougins" is an ideal location for those who wish to be able to escape form the congestion of the coastline whenever they like.The property, built on one level, has around 300 m2 of living space on over 5000 m2 grounds and is in an immaculate condition. All rooms in the main house have floor-to-ceiling doors that open onto the terrace overlooking the large illuminated swimming-pool (17x6 m). A modern pool heating system enables bathing all year round.Altogether, the villa has a sunny, relaxed ambience that makes it equally pleasant both inside and in the pretty garden and pool area. A formidable attraction in the pool area is the pool house not only featuring a bar where you can sit down and have a cool lager beer or a glass of French red wine but also a sauna being particularly pleasant in spring and autumn.The apartment with two bedrooms and a bathroom has a separate entrance. In the main house are three very nice bedrooms: The master bedroom with French-size bed, Color-TV, Jacuzzi and bathroom and the other two bedrooms with French-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. Beyond the foyer in the main house is a large marble-flored living-room that centres around a fireplace. The room is furnished with two leather sofas and one leather armchair, a coffee table and a colour television with satellite reception and programmes in English, French and German. From the living-room stairs go up to the Mezzanine which can be used as a place for office work or serve as a further sleeping accommodation (sofa-bed is there).The dining-room can be air-conditioned by a ventilator on the ceiling and is furnished with a beautiful side piece and a table large enough for ten.The modern kitchen is fully equipped with appliances such as electric stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, American-style refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, etc. It has direct access to the large terrace (250 m2) which provides a lovely setting for outdoor dining.Palm trees, a variety of Mediterranean plants and the lawn are well-maintained. Plantings of cypress trees and large hedges ensure total privacy for the house and its grounds which cannot be overlooked anyway. Spotlights illuminate the garden and the rock in the evening and together with the cool, soothing sound of water gently running down the stone fountain on the terrace create a unique atmosphere one will never forget.
