The tropical garden is lined with hundreds of different palm trees, 1,000 year old olive trees, two lakes and a waterfall which offers perfect rest and total privacy. Some cactus trees are more than 4 meters tall. Most of the palm trees are imported from Asia and Africa. The garden was constructed over a 7 year period by the famous Spanish landscape architect Jaime Mitjans. Located 20 mins. North of Evissa in Ibiza.
Accommodations: The estate features a main house (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) with two separate guest houses (together 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms) and two stunning pools. An additional bedroom could be used in the gardener's house - so all together the estate has 8 bedrooms for 16 people. All homes offer a perfect view of the Mediterranean Sea with spectacular sunrises and beautiful evenings under the moon. The main house : The main house is located directly on the coastline and has an infinity pool on the edge of the bluff. From all ten rooms you have a view over the bay and the sea. From here you can look across to the island of Tagomago. The main house has two floors. on the lower floor are the living room and dining room, the TV room and the library, and on the upper floor are two bedrooms and the bathroom. A large gym with the latest fitness equipment is in the basement, as is a separate bathroom. Because of the adjacent guest houses, the main house has only 2 bedrooms. But it is easily converted to provide 4 bedrooms. The main house has three bathrooms. The master bedroom offers a breathtaking 270-degree panorama of the Mediterranean and the palm trees of the tropical garden. Directly behind the house is a garden patio with 2 waterfalls. Interior : Each of the 10 rooms in the main house offers high-quality luxury appointments. The original red cedar ceilings lend the house plenty of warmth, and the floor is of brown terra cotta tiles. From each of the rooms you have a stunning view of the Mediterranean. In the summer you can see hundreds of boats going across to nearby Tagomago island. The home has numerous technological features such as: satellite TV with a giant screen, more than one hundred TV channels, video and DVD-player, high speed Internet access and, in most rooms, touch screen panels for choosing television, music and light. Guest House 1 is directly by the water: Guest House 1 - like the main house - is on the bluff directly overlooking the sea and offers a superb view of the Mediterranean and the bay of Cala Mastella at the front, and to the rear a view of the tropical garden and a large waterfall. Guest House 1 has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living room. Guest House 2 is set in the tropical garden: About 300 meters (1000 feet) from the coast. From here you can look across the entire estate. In the foreground the tropical garden, in the background the bay. A few steps take you to the Olympic Pool, the golf course and the tennis court. Guest House 2 has 2 bedrooms. One has a king-size bed, the other a single bed. Recreation: In the hot, dry Ibiza summer, you can enjoy a garden full of refreshing lakes, pools and waterfalls. The perfect place to read and enjoy the sun. The garden is especially enchanting at night when it is illuminated by hundreds of lights. The "Olympic" pool in the garden offers two 40-meter lanes for real swimmers, while the infinity pool at the main house is perfect for relaxing in the morning and afternoon sun. And, if you prefer the warm and inviting Mediterranean there are private stairs to you own platform affording access to the sea. Golfers may practice their short game on a magnificent pitch-and-putt golf hole with four buckets that even Jack Nicklaus would be envious of. The lighted tennis court allows for evening play or practice with a state of the art ball machine. There is also a private gym located in the main residence featuring the latest in fitness equipment. And for those of you with an interest in art, "Ibiza XXXX" offers some of the finest life-size people sculptures by the renowned American artist Seward Johnson, who represented the United States at the World Expo in Seville.
