An expanse of the whitest coral sand, which turns a coral pink shade at
sunset. This is often the best time to relax in the privacy of a traditionally
thatched Maldivian resting place overlooking your beach. Laze on one of the

Maldivian families.

Dhoni Slumber:
There are only six luxuriously appointed, fully air-conditioned Dhonis, each
partnered with its own intimate Beach Bungalow with an outdoor bathroom
and waterfall showers.
These 65 ft traditionally handcrafted Maldivian sailboats are the epitome of
simplistic elegance. The Dhonis have both the tradtional ivory sail and motor. Sail
or cruise – the choice is yours. The bow of the Dhoni is inviting with its large, soft
daybed to laze in the Maldivian sunshine. At night your Thakuru will transform the
deck into a sensual setting for dining under the stars. An inviting king size bed
with Frette linen and goose-down duvet graces the beautifully decorated cabins.
They also boast SMEG kitchen appliances, Philippe Starck bathroom fittings, a
sunbathing deck and silk cushions in an array of natural tones. In-cabin
entertainment includes a 20” LCD screen with Bose DVD Surround Sound Theatre.
Beach Bungalow Slumber:

With their rustic charm, these thatched bungalows, set amongst luxuriant tropical
foliage and facing the pristine lagoon, engage all of the senses. Natural materials are
used for furnishings that have been sourced throughout Asia and beyond. The
Bungalows are fully air-conditioned, have an overhead fan, espresso machine, private
bar, outdoor dining setting and a Bose surround sound system with an Apple ipod.
The luxury bathroom is graced with L’OCCITANE EN PROVENCE amenities and a
bathtub surrounded by shimmering metallic slate. Each Beach Bungalow opens
onto its own secluded, private walled courtyard with a tropical shower open to the
sun and stars.
4 Beach Bungalows with Plunge Pool:
While similar to the Beach Bungalows, and with the same amenities, the four
Beach Bungalows with plunge pool offer a much larger private courtyard with
your very own private freshwater plunge pool to wash away the salt water.

stay at Dhoni Mighili is all about YOU. A dedicated ‘Thakuru’ – Maldivian
butler, captain and two additional crew members – all for you – are on call
24 hours a day throughout your entire stay at Dhoni Mighili. Your Thakuru
will take you to specially selected snorkelling spots, bring you the freshest
local papaya and place flowers on your bed. Whatever you desire or need,
they are there to ensure that everything is taken care of right down to the
finest detail. Prior to your arrival, your Thakuru will seek information of any
special indulgences you may need or desire while visiting us – maybe a
personalised dive lesson, assistance with creating the perfect moment for a
proposal or even how you like your martini – shaken or stirred. At Dhoni

Location::
Dhoni Mighili is in the Ari Atoll of the Maldives, to the southwest of the
capital, Male. Your Maldives experience can begin with a breathtakingly
gorgeous journey to Dhoni Mighili on a 30-minute seaplane flight over the
necklace of atolls glistening in the Indian Ocean. Or, of course, the most
decadent way to arrive would be aboard your own private Dhoni where you
can revel in sunshine and the sensation of the sea gently spraying against
your skin to get you straight into the holiday mode that you have been
longing for.
Arrival and Departure:
You will be met on arrival at Male International Airport by our dedicated
Airport Host, who will whisk you to your chosen form of transport. Check-in
time is from 2:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00pm.
We will provide assistance with arrangements to handle private aircraft and
Customs clearance for guests who have booked the island for exclusive use.
Wine and Dine:
Wherever, whenever you wish to wine or dine on Dhoni Mighili, the choice is
yours. Our Chef can suggest a menu specially designed using the freshest of
fresh ingredients or can personalizea menu to excite your palate. Find a
secluded part of the beach and select your menu…dine on your Dhoni…in the
restaurant...or on a private sand bank, any time of the day or night. This is
your island getaway and you choose how to enjoy your time here.
Bar and Lounge:
Our bar is open 24 hours for guests to help themselves to a fine selection of
champagne, wine, spirits and imported beers that have been meticulously
selected by our Master of Wine. There is always a host on hand to mix the
perfect margarita. An extensive reserve wine list is also available.
Sen Spa:
The core of Sen Spa’s philosophy is to bathe each guest in the pureness of
nature. Be guided by your internationally trained therapist to select treatments
to satisfy your body, mind and soul. Choose from the inner enclave of the spa
which is exclusively yours whilst having your treatment or move closer to
nature and venture out to the open-air treatment area where the sounds of
the waves and the fresh salt air will soon lull you into a sense of calm and
tranquility.
Exclusive Use Bookings:
Dhoni Mighili is the only island in the Maldives that can be booked
EXCLUSIVELY, catering for two to twenty-four guests at any one time. With
exclusive use, guests can enjoy the entire island without having to worry
about others. Ultimate privacy from the paparazzi is assured whilst on the
island, not a single long lens or flashgun in sight.
Dhoni Mighili does not cater to children under 16 years of age, unless the
island is booked exclusively.
