The villa is a marble building of a famous French architect. The attention to detail in the choice and selection of the quality and colors of the marbles make of this villa a work of art. Each room is decorated with different furniture. Each room has its own access to a wonderfully decorated private garden or terrace with tables and chairs. The views are breathtaking.
The villa is hidden on the side of a mountain among one of the nicest green spots of the Sorrento Peninsula. Located in Colli di Fontanelle, the villa can be reached by following the Nastro Verde road (literally "The Green Road").
At the lower level of the villa there is the entrance hall.
On the first floor there is a spacious entrance hall wonderfully decorated by a Ceramic Marmade of the Mexican Artist Sergio Bustamante. To the sides of the hall you will find the rooms, each one with its own bathroom. If you come alone or with a group of people you can choose the room that better suites your taste. The choice of the room can be a very exciting phase following your arrival at the villa.
On the second level you have another large hall, with a small marble bridge separating the actual living area from the fireplace area. To the left of the fireplace the stairs lead to the third floor where you will find three bedrooms.
The halls and living areas are decorated by excellent antique artworks. Each room exhibits the works of local and international painters. Each room has also an Internet connection.
BEDROOMS
The villa has 10 suites. Each room has its own very personal style, and the furniture is handmade by local craftsmen to fit the unique design of the villa. You can choose to be there on your own or share it with a group of friends. In either case you will find your stay at the villa extremely enjoyable. A catering service can be easily arranged.
SURROUNDINGS
The villa is located in a small, layed back but very exciting countryside village. The position is strategic. To the south Sorrento is only 15 minutes away. Sorrento is beautiful for many reasons. During the day you can go shopping among the many stores located on the main road, the Corso Italia, or live the experience of the so called "historical centre" filled with its small stores that sell local artisan products, fresh fruit and local wines and liquors.
Capri is just a 30 minutes ferry ride. For more information you can ask the staff at the villa. They will be happy to provide you with the information you need to reach the wonderful island and the most interesting places to see and visit.
Positano is also 20 minutes away along one of the most astonishing and breathtaking rides in the world. If you want you can stop in Positano, explore the magic little streets that lead you to the beach and then follow your trip to Amalfi, Ravello or Paestum.
Sorrento and Positano have a very active nightlife. There are beautiful clubs abd bars you can visit and Gianna and Antonio will be happy to direct you to the places that better suite your tastes.
An holiday at villa Las Ventanas is not only about places to visit. You will always have time to do that. It is a way to harmonize with the wonderful nature that surrounds the villa. All around it there are woods and beautiful places of mediterranean vegetation that you can visit with enjoyable walks or horserides.
You can enjoy the comfort of the villa for the entire holiday or use it as a base for visiting the beautiful and interesting places around it.
A car can be rented from the villa to tour the Amalfi Coast.
HOW TO REACH US
The villa is easily accessible. The Airport of Naples is one hour away. There are two flights a day that arrive in Naples from London. Pick ups at the airport can be arranged.
Gianna and Antonio will be ready to receive you and introduce you to the villa. They will be happy to answer all the questions as possible.
