Bedrooms: 5 Staff: Cook-Housekeeper 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM, day houseboy and night watchman. Perched atop a dramatic hillside overlooking the ever blue and at times emerald glistening water of the Pacific Ocean in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico… is Bajamar I. The 8,000 square foot home has been recently and completely remodeled in earth tones by decorator Martha Ramirez to compliment the blue ocean vistas that can be seen from most of the five bedrooms and living areas. The creative, eclectic, décor includes items from throughout Mexico, antique Persian rugs, colorful paintings by renown artist such as Aurelio Pescina, and sculptures in bronze by Heriberto Juarez to complete the warm, comfortable interiors. The patios include a neatly groomed garden surrounding a two-story playhouse; an illuminated professional sized croquet court, the ocean-view pool and spa; and an ocean’s edge eucalyptus grove with an antique carrousel for your children’s delight.

Features:

The Family Suite contains three ocean view bedrooms, a large shower and back and two walk-in closets. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds, one with a fireplace and the other shares a living room with a king size master bedroom completing 1320 square feet. The Reja Suite has a king size bed, living room, a whirlpool tub in the bath and a walk-in closet completing 625 square feet. The Cantera Suite has a comforting fireplace and a queen size bed. The bath has a tile shower. A living room and walk-in closet complete the ample 550 square foot space. The living spaces include an open living room with a hand hammered copper fireplace with conversation pit. The cantera bar is facing the ocean where early morning fishermen tend lobster traps and surfers brave the waves at San Miguel Beach. The formal dining room seats twelve or you can dine in the ocean view breakfast nook. The family room offers a fireplace, a 60 inch television and a bar. Two half baths are conveniently just off the living rooms. Bedroom living rooms have Sony TV's and DVD/CD/VHS.
