Description of Sitges II:

The property is an extensive sixteenth century residence ("masia") set amidst the vast natural parkland of the Garraf hills with panoramic views of the Mediterranean. This is no old country farmhouse. Recently renovated to a very high standard, it combines the beautiful intrinsic features of the original property with modern-day comfort and convenience. Its setting is stunning. It sits high up on the edge of the Garraf National Park overlooking forest and Mediterranean. The property itself has over 300 acres of land an 14 kilometers of private paths. Its ground are beautiful offering olive groves and citrus trees with 30 acres of vineyards. The masia is located just two kilometers from the traditional town of Sant Pere De Ribes. The well-known seaside town of Sitges is 6 kilometers away and Barcelona is only a 30-minute drive. Barcelona airport is 25 minutes away and Tarragona (Salou) airport is one hour away. Also in the vicinity is the Penedes wine region and its capital, Vilafranca, is just a 10-minute drive. The town of Tarragona and theme park Port Aventura are each a 45 minute drive.

There are 17 different beaches in front of the main town. The promenade that runs the length of the beaches is very popular because of the summer evening strolls and is perfect for rollerblading or biking on its smooth surface Barcelona One of the most popular European destinations, Barcelona is only 30 minutes away. Port Aventura Only 45 minutes away is Port Aventura, the second biggest theme park in Europe. Set up by Universal Studios, it has one of the fastest roller coasters and rides for all ages Garraf Nature Park The Garraf Park is one of the best nature parks around Barcelona. The park has excellent walking or biking pats, and is a highlight for anyone interested in wildlife Golf Some of the best European golf courses are easily accessible from the Masia. The closest is Terramar Golf Club in Sitges Sailing There are 3 ports within 15 minutes of the Masia: Port Ginesta, Aiguadolc and Garraf. The Ports themselves, especially Aigualdolc, are worth visiting to walk around in the evening with Bars and fish restaurants serving delicious paella and the local fideo (noodles) Night life Pacha, one of the biggest nightclub owners in Spain with clubs in Ibiza, Marbella and Madrid have one of their first discotheques in Sitges. There is a good mixture of nationalities, people and ages which makes for a very relaxed Wine tasting The Penedès wine region is one of the most famous in Spain and is on our doorstep. Until the 19th century Penedès was fundamentally a red win area and it was only at this tame the big firms around Sant Sardurni such as Codorniu and French methods making champagne. Now of around 26,000 cultivated hectares in the region, 80% are made up of the three classic types of Cava: Macabeo, Parellada and Xarello. Of the other 20%, made up of red and white wine, perhaps the most famous names of the area are Miguel A. Trorres and Jean León. But the area is knowm also for its individual style and wine made up from small firms such as Can Ràfols dels Caus, Can Feixes, Albet I Nova. Also some of the wines from the Garraf are worth trying.
