As you enter the gates at Villa Beverly Hills 6, located in Hollywood Hills, you are transported back a century to the villas found atop the country hillsides of Italy. Back to a time when the finest of tiles, marbles, wood plank flooring, copper sinks, and all the materials were hand-picked and installed by skilled masons and craftsmen who considered the work their art. Back to a time when every wall and ceiling was hand-painted by a true artist - having mixed from pigment the colors approved by his eye and applied by his very hand - creating art whose appreciation has proven to last generation after generation.
Skills of the past have been resurrected in the creation of Villa Beverly Hills 6, a true Tuscan palazzo, recently completed in 2005 after four years of dedicated work by the same breed of artisans and designers who have fastidiously recreated every authentic detail. In fact, the greatest work can be attributed to the famous artist Antonio D’Attellis (exclusive restorer for paintings in the Vatican) who used ancient techniques that date back to Pompeian times to create these masterful works.
Within 8878 square feet (measured), comfortable living spaces have been designed for today’s daily life. Extraordinary spaces include a “Garden Room” which transitions the living space to the outdoor terrazzo. At the base of the dramatic dual staircases is a lighted grotto and fountain where an Italian antique statue of Hebe, goddess of youth, presides over the swimmer’s pool and spa, impressive pavilion, covered outdoor kitchen & patio, and breathtaking panoramic views.
A 1591 square foot (measured) tiled outdoor entertaining area with exceptional views is just the place for grand-scale ceremonies and events prior to entering in the home’s theatre, complete with stage and seating for 40.
Inside the home, the gourmet center island cucina has been outfitted with only the best appliances such as three Sub-Zero refrigerators, chef’s French-manufactured Morice stove, Fisher & Paykel double-drawer dishwasher, and of course, a built-in Miele espresso machine.
Venetian Murano glass chandeliers and sconces grace the formal living areas including the grand living room, formal dining room, library, master bedroom and hallways. The entire palazzo shares the incredible views framed by large mahogany windows and French doors with balconies off every room.
Villa Beverly Hills 6 celebrates the revival of exceptional art and artistry within the home.
